Darrell Cornelius Gilbert, 34, of Sable Bay Point, Apartment 11, College Park, gas drive off, possession of a synthetic narcotic and obstruction of a police officer. Johnny Angel Jr., 51, of Surrey Trail, College Park, was charged with shoplifting following an incident at Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. An official alleged Angel stole meat and clothing, all valued at $465. Clark A. Stinchcomb, 59, of Church Street, Fayetteville, was charged with shoplifting following an incident at Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. An employee alleged Stinchcomb stole two bags of fish hooks and one bag of lead weights with an unspecified value from the business. Portia J. Fletcher, 45, of Kipling Circle, S.E., Atlanta, was charged with shoplifting and possession of marijuana following an incident at Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. An employee alleged Fletcher stole pants, a shirt, watch, three bottles of lotion and a jar of gel, all valued at $55. During her arrest, police found a small quantity of marijuana on her. Harriet Latise King, 22, of Lendy Lane, Atlanta, shoplifting. Michael Anthony Moody, 23, of Newnan Villages, Newnan, disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and cruelty to children. Michael Castilleja, 35, of Valley Hill Road, Riverdale, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license. Justin Ossai, 17, of Winterberry Ridge, Fairburn, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, insurance violation, improper tag and violation of license and registration requirements. Andrea D. Evans, 21, of Knotty Pine Place, Hampton, wanted out of Clayton County. A 13-year-old male Fayette Middle School student was charged with disorderly conduct following a fight with another boy. A 14-year-old Fayetteville boy was charged with shoplifting following an incident at Best Buy, 128 Pavilion Parkway. An employee alleged the teen stole a Best of Mandy Moore CD and a Live in London and More CD, all valued at $43. A 15-year-old Fayetteville boy was charged with shoplifting following an incident at Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. An employee alleged the teen attempted to steal a Vivicam 35, two digital cameras, batteries and one GB SD memory card, all valued at $228, from the business. A 16-year-old Fayetteville girl, runaway. Kelly Lynn Meredith, 20, of Fleetwood Drive, Fayetteville, was charged with theft by shoplifting following an incident at Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. An employee alleged Meredith stood watch while a 14-year-old, who was also charged with shoplifting, stole a tube of Bonne Bell gloss, valued at $2.94, from the store. Peachtree City Police Dept. Justin Joseph Wood, 21, of Kings Ridge, Peachtree City, DUI. Jose Carmen Hernandez-Garcia, 20, of Sweetgum Road, Peachtree City, DUI, minor in possession of alcohol and no license. Frank R. Lamia, 21, of Adams Drive, Fayetteville, DUI, failure to maintain lane, violation of license restrictions and driving on an expired license. Wanted: A bench warrant for failure to appear in court was issued by Fayetteville Municipal Court Judge Michael Martin for Ulices Salgade of Durkin Ives, Buford. Wanted: A bench warrant for probation violation was issued by Fayetteville Municipal Court Judge Michael Martin for Kurt William Hayden of Falcon Crest Trail, Jonesboro. Fraud: Kelly York, 26, an employee of Publix, 108 Pavilion Parkway, reported someone passed a bad check for $96 at the store. Fraud: Robyn Langley, 29, of Picadilly Court, Jonesboro, reported someone allegedly stole her purse containing checks and passed a fraudulent check in her name at Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. Fraud: Michael OReill, 49, an employee of Ingles, 135 Highway 92 South, Fayetteville, reported someone passed three stolen checks, all valued at $300. The checks were reported stolen at the business. Fayette Co. Fire and Emergency Services Reports were unavailable by presstime. Fayetteville Fire Dept. Arcing: At 8:26 a.m. April 26, Fayetteville firefighters investigated an arcing situation at Glynn and East Lanier Avenue. Gas leak: At 8:59 p.m. April 28, Fayetteville firefighters investigated a gas leak at 965 W. Lanier Ave. Vehicle fire: At 10:46 p.m. May 1, Fayetteville firefighters responded to Old Highway 138 and Highland Drive to extinguish a passenger vehicle fire. From April 25-May 1: the Fayetteville Fire Department received 42 calls for help. Peachtree City Fire and Rescue Inquiry: At 11:31 a.m. April 26, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 34 American Way to investigate a burning smell within the structure. Firefighters found plastic cookware on the heating element of the dishwasher had caused the smell. Gas Leak: At 1:35 p.m. April 26, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a gas leak inside a structure at 214 City Circle. A small gas leak was found on the roof Heating and Air Condition unit. Gas was turned off and Atlanta Gas Company was notified. Controlled Burn: At 7:28 p.m. April 28, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a controlled burn at 219 Chardonnay. A controlled burn was in progress, but neighbors were complaining so fire was extinguished. Gas leak: At 12:55 p.m. April 29, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a gas leak at outside a structure at 316 North Peachtree Parkway. Construction crews had struck and broke a natural gas line. Surrounding structures were checked for danger and Atlanta Gas Company responded to fix the break. Lightning strike: At 8:26 a.m. April 30, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported structure fire at 102 Cottage Grove. The resident reported the house had been struck by lighting. There was no visible fire. Some electrical appliances had possibly been damaged. The resident was advised to contact electrician and not put power to any of the appliances which appear to be effected. From April 25-May 1: Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 39 calls for help. |
