S. Fulton opens new outpatient radiology entrance 

South Fulton Medical Center has recently opened its new outpatient radiology entrance.

“This is a tremendous improvement in the way we deliver care to our patients,” stated Christopher Hummer, chief executive officer of South Fulton Medical Center. ”Patients now have the opportunity to go directly to the outpatient radiology wing without having to enter the main hospital.”

Hummer added, “We understand a hospital can be somewhat scary and uninviting; therefore, we are constantly updating and evaluating ways to make our patients’ hospital visit as pleasant and convenient as possible.”

South Fulton Medical Center’s Outpatient Radiology Department performs a wide variety of diagnostic tests including bone density testing, MRI scans, CT scans, mammograms and ultrasounds.
