Freeman earns Phoenix Award

Steve Freeman of the Five Star Team with Keller Williams Realty professionals has been awarded the prestigious Phoenix Award by the Fayette County Board of Realtors. Freeman received the honor at a banquet held by the Board March 5.

The Phoenix Award is a milestone award presented to real estate professionals only after they have qualified 10 years for membership in the Million Dollar Club. Showcasing consistent real estate sales performance is the hallmark of this award. The prestige of the award and the honor it bestows upon its recipients goes to a very select few.

Steve Freeman is a third-generation builder, a second-generation Realtor and began selling real estate at the age of 24. In his very first year, he achieved membership in the Million Dollar Club. Ten years later, at the age of 34, Steve had achieved the 10 consecutive years in the Million Dollar Club required to achieve the Phoenix.

"Almost as satisfying as receiving this award is the fact that I have simply survived and been successful for 10 years in this business," Freeman joked. “After being a broker of Keller Williams Realty and the Managing Broker for Re/Max Results in Newnan, you see a lot of agents come and go. Very few last for 10 years.”

Freeman and his team specialize in the South Metro areas. He has a Broker Associate license as well as having the ABR, CRS, CSP and GRI designations. Steve cites the fact that he has invested in educating himself in his profession as proof that he cares about his clients and their needs. Steve also points to his experience as a third generation builder as an aid to clients whether buying or selling.
