Peachtree City UMC schedules barbecue, auction April 30

Peachtree City United Methodist Church will have a barbecue dinner and silent auction to raise funds for the church’s scout lodge Saturday, April 30, from 5-8 p.m. at the church’s Windgate Road facility (corner of Windgate Road and Peachtree Parkway).

Dinner tickets are $5 and include Cafe Pig barbecue, chips, drink and dessert.

Donation tickets for a gas grill are $5 each or five for $20.

Some of the silent auction items include: a utility trailer, theater tickets, a car care kit, a home appraisal, personal care items, tanning bed sessions, local restaurant dinners, a vehicle cargo carrier, Braves baseball tickets with parking, dinner theater tickets, framed art and prints, power tools, hand tools, a Gulf coast weekend getaway, toys, appliances, exterior home cleaning, personal services, a private three-day cruise out of Jacksonville, and numerous other items.
