Bad Links? | YMCA Improvement Day set for April 30It's time once again for YMCA Improvement Day. Groups and individuals from throughout the community are invited to come and help improve the Fayette Family YMCA facilities. Projects include bus lettering and signage, water & snack detail (yes, anyone can help), trail making, landscaping renovation, lunch box construction, mulching, painting, play park repairs, play park sealing and more. There is much to do. If you have a group of three or four individuals ready, willing, and able, we are sure we have the right project for you, said Fayette Family YMCA executive director Pam Young. YMCA Improvement Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Fayette Family YMCA site at 215 Huiet Road in Fayetteville. Whether it be for 2 hours or 8, we'll appreciate every minute, said Young. To safely serve over 30,000 kids and families annually, we need you. Groups are asked to RSVP to Teresa or Pam at 770-719-9622. The Play Park will be closed for the weekend of April 30 and May 1. |
