‘Music Man Junior’ set for April 15, 16

The Master’s Academy of Fine Arts of Hampton drama club will present “The Music Man Junior,” Friday, April 15 at McDonough Christian Church and Saturday, April 16, at the Villages Amphitheater in Fayetteville. Friday’s McDonough performances will be at 1 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s Fayetteville performance is at 7:30 p.m.

The play is a part of the Broadway Junior Collection and is from the book by Meredith Willson and Franklin Lacey, with music and lyrics by Willson.

Advance tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for children. Lap sitters are free. Tickets the day of the performances will be $7 for adults and $3 for children.

McDonough Christian Church is at 2000 McDonough Road in McDonough. The Villages Amphitheater is at 301 LaFayette Avenue in Fayetteville (http://www.villagesamphitheater.com/).

Those attending the Fayetteville performance are requested to bring blankets and chairs.

The Master’s Academy of Fine Arts is a full fine arts program geared to home schooled children ages 5-18. Meeting just one day per week for three hours, children are exposed to the arts from an historical perspective.
