Babbie Mason to speak at Aglow meeting April 18TV talk show host and Christian music artist Babbie Mason will be the special guest speaker at the Monday, April 18 meeting of Peachtree City Aglow. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City. A nursery will not be available for this meeting. Men are welcome. Babbie Mason has become one of the most exciting Christian artists in the nation, a spokesperson said. Her award-winning music is heard on radio and television worldwide and her works appear in the church hymnal. Babbie has a host of Dove and Stellar nominations, and has reaped two Dove awards. Mason has graced the platform with such dignitaries as Presidents Carter, Bush and Ford, performers such as Bill and Gloria Gaither and the Homecoming Friends, and preachers such as Pastor Jim Cymbala and Dr. Billy Graham. She has been a part of the Women of Faith tour, the most talked about womens conference that attracts thousands of women from coast to coast. Cece Winans, Larnelle Harris, Helen Baylor and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir all have recorded her compositions. In spite of these accomplishments, Babbie would rather talk about her commitment and love for God, her family and the church, the spokesperson said. She seeks to better the lives of others by helping them realize their God-given potential. She demonstrates this as host of Babbies House, her TV talk show. Peachtree City Aglow is an international interdenominational ministry for women. For more information, phone Pat Forest, 770-486-1537 or Flo Kellenbach, 770 486-1973.
