Shames joins United Comm. Advisory Svcs.

Mark H. Shames has joined United Community Advisory Services as a financial advisor in United’s metro locations. He will be located in United Community Bank's Fairburn office at 65 Washington Street and will serve United’s offices in Fairburn, Newnan, Palmetto, Union City, Peachtree City, McDonough, Stockbridge, Conyers and Covington.

Shames is a graduate of the University of Florida International University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. He has successfully completed the Accredited Asset Management Specialist program from the Denver-based College for Financial Planning. This advanced training offers investment professionals the hands-on information needed to provide plan-oriented advice for clients. He comes to United with an extensive background in management and investment banking over the last 25 years.

Among his community activities, Shames vigorously supports the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club.
