Church cost overruns

If you are ever in Fayette and Coweta counties, you must come and see our beautiful church. I know I talk a lot about it, but the church has been our life for many years. This one is special to me because we started it with faith and prayer and God’s Spirit in our living room with just our family and nothing more.

That is the good news; now the bad news. We have finished the building and are getting new people who are visiting each week and we thank God for this, but we do, however, have to pay our bills (the bad news).

This is where you come in. We have had several expensive cost overruns toward the end of our construction which, I understand, often happens. This would not normally be a problem but we are not yet at the level to be able to just write a check for these overruns.

The bottom line is that we need $10,000 to pay these cost overruns. If you could help us with this it would be greatly appreciated.

God has been good to all of us and I have discovered that it is “more blessed to give than to receive.” It is not that the church needs your money but that you need the blessing of giving.

I have said enough. I will ask you to pray about helping with these cost overruns. I would not be asking for this if we didn’t need it.
