What do you think of this story? | Parenting conference is April 15La Leche League International has been providing breastfeeding support and education for nearly 50 years to families around the world. La Leche League is very active locally and on April 15 and 16, La Leche League of Georgia will hold its 26th Annual Breastfeeding and Parenting Conference titled, "Watch the Children Soar" at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center and Resort in Peachtree City. This is the pinnacle of the year for hard working volunteers who daily help mothers one-on-one to successfully breastfeed their babies. The conference, open to the public and children, is dedicated to furthering education regarding the latest research in breastfeeding as well as trends in parenting. La Leche League of Georgias Conference Team has been busy planning compelling conference workshops, an opening night with sensational speakers and two full days of informative and motivating presentations along with great childrens activities. Marian Tompson, one of the seven co-founders of La Leche League International (LLLI), and Katie Allison Granju, co-author of Attachment Parenting will be the featured speakers. Friday starts off with six workshops to choose from and a dinner buffet. The evenings entertainment includes the much loved Pamper Mom Expo with an extravagant dessert buffet. A fun session of music and movement will keep the kids and dads busy.
