What do you think of this story? | Spring has Sprung at American AdventuresThe best thing to spend on your children is time and Kidsfest at American Adventures is the place to be. The first Spring KidsFest kicked off Saturday with exciting special attractions for families to enjoy together. Throughout the four day event, different attractions will open with interactive play for parents and kids. Activities include inflatables and games from Party City, gymnastic activities from Tumble Bus Atlanta, and Spring decorating tips from Joanns Superstore. Kids also love pets and will enjoy adoption opportunities from the Atlanta Humane Society, pet safety tips and demonstrations from Canine Academy, and everyone can interact with fur and feathers at the traveling barnyard from Tanglewood Farm. Summer safety is always important and the Marietta Police department and Cobb County Fire department will demonstrate bike safety, K-9 patrol, the D.A.R.E. program, fire prevention and more. For the baseball player in everyone, the Atlanta Braves will offer interactive activities throughout the event. American Adventures Spring KidsFest takes place April 9 and April 10. Not all attractions will be operating each day so visit sixflags.com for details. General admission is $15 for children (36" and up) and $5 for toddlers/adults.
