Bethany UMW to meet April 7

United Methodist Women at Bethany United Methodist Church will meet Thursday, April 7, at 7 p.m. in the church choir room. The group is planning a yard sale for May 13 and 14 and will accept donations of kitchen equipment, appliances, furniture and other household items (no clothing, please). Flat Creek’s seminar deadline is April 10

Flat Creek Baptist Church will host a cross-cultural training seminar Friday and Saturday, April 22-23, presented by the International Missions Training Institute, an arm of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Registration fee is $15 per participant and includes a volunteer training manual and two meals. The deadline for registration is April 10 and seating is limited. National Heights seniors plan trip

Senior adults at National Heights Baptist Church will travel to south Georgia April 14 and 15 to see the play, “Swamp Gravy,” and to visit museums in Plains and Americus. A tour of the International Habitat for Humanity Village in Americus also is planned. Senior adults also will meet Tuesday, April 12, for a covered dish luncheon. Faith Lutheran plans bike rodeo

Faith Lutheran Church in Coweta County will host a Community Bike Rodeo and Safety Day for children ages 2-11 Sunday, April 24, from 2-5 p.m, at the new church facility, 575 Fischer Rd., Sharpsburg. Rain date is May 1. The Peachtree City Bike Patrol, Bicycles Unlimited, Coweta County Fire Department, and EMS will be on site.
