Starr’s Mill boys win tri-match

Three local high school golf teams, East Coweta, Fayette County, and Starr’s Mill, teed it up this week for a tri-match at Whitewater Country Club. Players were allowed to ‘pick, clean, and place‘ their balls on the course due to all the recent rain the area has received. Six golfers competed for each school, with the final team results being determined by the four lowest scores on each team.

After all the scores were posted, Starr’s Mill had the lowest team score(147), finishing first in the match, with Fayette County (157) finishing second, and East Coweta (158) finishing third.

Individual scores posted over the Par 36 front nine at the Whitewater course were:
