Bad Links? | Brusters offering free ice cream this weekendOnce again, Peachtree City residents will have an opportunity to enjoy a free frozen treat while helping children stay warm by coming to Brusters Real Ice Cream for the annual Pajama Party Weekend Saturday and Sunday. Anyone wearing their pajamas to the store will be rewarded with a free heaping single scoop of Brusters famous ice cream in a waffle cone, limit one per customer. Pajama Party Weekend is one of our favorite events because we get to see our loyal customers have fun while enjoying some great ice cream, said Chris Patel, owner of Bruster's Ice Cream of Peachtree City. With our employees and customers all in their jammies and kids running around, this weekend encompasses the spirit of Brusters. To top that all off,the cherry on the sundae, so to speak, any donations made during the month of April will benefit Operation Warm, a non-profit organization that distributes coats for disadvantaged children. Operation Warms mission is to enhance the self-esteem of disadvantaged children by providing them with resources that promote a positive self-image and foster the conviction that says, I am of value. For these children, the basic necessities we take for granted, such as food, healthcare and adequate winter clothing, are often beyond reach, said Wendy Leslie, Operation Warms executive director and vice president. The free single waffle cones are available during regular store hours on Saturday and Sunday. |
