Bad Links? | Landmark to host Computer Recycling DayDid you know that it is illegal to place computer equipment in your trash or in the city dump? Fines can reach into the tens of thousands for each piece improperly disposed. Landmark Christian School will host a Computer Recycle Day, Saturday, April 23, on their Fairburn campus. If you have computer equipment taking up valuable space, load it up and bring it to Landmark. They will take if off your hands and make sure it is properly recycled for free. Landmark will be accepting used computer equipment at the Fairburn campus only, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Items which may be recycled include: computers, cables, printers, speakers, monitors, keyboards, modems, fax machines and mice. For more information,or questions concerning deleting personal information on your PC prior to disposal, contact Landmark tech director Norm Dunkin at ndunkin@landmark-cs.org or 770-692-6759. |
