Bad Links? | Lady Panthers pick up another big win, McIntosh teams have busy weekend of tournament play plannedThe Starrs Mill Lady Panthers varsity soccer team defeated Harrison 4-2 on Wednesday night. Lucy Martin had a hat trick of goals, while Kelley OHara had a hat trick of assists. Sarah Burke scored a goal and Katie Jacobsen earned an assist in the win as well. Jenae Roseen and Katelynn Morgan shared goalkeeping duties in the game. Roseen made four saves in the first half and Morgan made six saves in the second half. Starrs Mill will have a big region game at home next Tuesday when they take on Newnan. The girls will play at 7:30 p.m. after the boys game at 5:30 p.m. The boys will have a tough game before that when they host second ranked Walton at 7 p.m. on Saturday. McIntoshs top ranked girls team was scheduled to meet Marist last night after the paper went to press. They will host Whitewater tonight at 6 p.m. and will play at Westminster tomorrow at 2 p.m. McIntoshs boys will take on Whitewater after the girls game and will host LaGrange on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. |
