FamilyLife to sponsor marriage encounter weekend at WyndhamWhile some Americans are challenging the definition of marriage and others are working to defend traditional marriage, hundreds of Atlanta area couples are taking steps to ensure their marriages go the distance. On April 1, hundreds of couples will gather at the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel and Conference Center in Peachtree City for FamilyLifes Weekend to Remember®. For 28 years the event has helped husbands and wives communicate more effectively, resolve conflict, develop greater intimacy, and renew excitement. The event is sponsored by FamilyLife, a division of Campus Crusade for Christ, and will be held Friday, April 1, through Sunday, April 3. Tickets are $99 per person and group rates are available. The Weekend to Remember conference helped to set our marriage on a course for success. The conference was the beginning of a life long journey that continuously brings to life the Word, empowering us in our marriage and our relationship with Jesus, said Randy and Linda Strickland, who felt so affected by Weekend to Remember they are now volunteering with FamilyLife to help encourage other couples to attend. Another Weekend to Remember conference is scheduled to return to the Atlanta area April 29 - May 1. Founded in 1976 as a division of Campus Crusade for Christ, FamilyLife is devoted to effectively developing godly families, one home at a time. More than 1,563,000 radio listeners tune in weekly to FamilyLife Today radio broadcasts, while more than 1.2 million people have attended regional FamilyLife Marriage and Parenting Conferences over the past 28 years. Thousands of couples are already registered to participate in the Weekend to Remember 2005 spring conference season. For registration information, call 800-358-6329 or visit www.familylife.com. |
