Providence UMC hosts concert, speaker

Three-time Dove award winner By The Tree will be headlining a free event today.

By The Tree, along with Jubal's Kin and Casper McCloud, will be at Providence United Methodist Church just outside Peachtree City. The show starts at 6 p.m. Directions to the church are located at www.unight17.org.

Lisa Leathers, mother of Johnny Leathers and founder of the Johnny Foundation, will be speaking. “Lisa has a gripping story and testimony that every middle school high school and college student needs to hear along with their parents and teachers,” according to a spokesperson for the event. “If you heard Lisa on J93.3 earlier this week, you know this is a life-changing story and testimony.”

This is part of the Hope to a Generation Tour.

Coming soon will be the lineup for this year’s 4 Nights In October. Newsboys, The David Crowder Band, and Stellar Kart are a few of the bands that will be there this year.
