McIntosh and Starr’s Mill have opponents call for mercy, Creek boys win again

Last Thursday’s soccer action saw a lot of blowouts as both Starr’s Mill and McIntosh’s boys and girls teams invoked the mercy rule on their opponents.

Starr’s Mill hosted Mundy’s Mill and both the boys and girls won 15-0, while McIntosh’s boys and girls did the same to Creekside. On Friday, Starr’s Mill boys picked up a 1-0 win over Harrison.

In other games last Thursday, Fayette County’s girls lost 1-0 to Northgate, while the boys tied the Vikings 1-1. Sandy Creek’s boys picked up their second win in a row by defeating Alexander 5-1, while the Lady Patriots fell 2-0. On Friday, Our Lady of Mercy’s Lady Bobcats lost to Walker 7-0.
