St. Andrew’s Episcopal begins Holy Week schedule Saturday

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Peachtree City will begin its celebration of Holy Week this Saturday, March 19, with a Holy Communion Service at 6 p.m. The service will feature the first half of St. Matthew’s Passion.

On Sunday, March 20, Palm Sunday services will include the Blessing of Palms and Processional at the 9:15 a.m. service. At 7 p.m., the choir will present Sir John Stainer’s “The Crucifixion.”

On Monday, March 21, a Holy Communion service is scheduled for 6 a.m. featuring the first half of St. Mark’s Passion.

On Tuesday, March 22, Holy Communion will be at 6 a.m. and will feature the second half of St. Mark’s Passion.

Holy Communion will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, and will feature the first half of St. Luke’s Passion. At 9 p.m., a Tenebrae service is planned. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday activities will be announced next week.
