Providence UMC to offer viewing of ‘The Passion of the Christ’

Providence United Methodist Church will begin Holy Week activities with Palm Sunday services at 9, 10, and 11:11 a.m. on March 20. An Easter egg hunt for children in fifth grade or younger is planned for Sunday afternoon.

A Maundy Thursday service is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, from 7-8 p.m. The service will feature four biblical portrayals and Holy Communion.

On Good Friday, March 25, the church will host a covered dish dinner followed by a showing of the movie, “The Passion of the Christ.”

Easter Sunday services will be held at 9, 10, and 11:11 a.m.
