‘Jesus in the Passover’ will be presented Sunday

Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church will host Murray Tilles, of Light of Messiah Ministries in Atlanta, for his presentation of “Jesus in the Passover,” Sunday, March 20, at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Tilles will set up a Passover table with all the traditional elements involved in the Passover meal and demonstrate how the Passover is celebrated.

“The service will bring to light the Jewish roots of faith in Jesus as well as the celebration of communion,” a church spokesperson said. “During the service you will see how Jewish people celebrate Passover today, how the symbolic foods of Passover picture God’s redemption, and how Jesus is beautifully foreshadowed in the Passover celebration and story. This will show what the Jewish Passover and Jesus’ Last Supper have in common and will bring new light into the Jewishness of Jesus”
