What do you think of this story? | Curves is now accepting food bank donationsAtlanta Area Curves Fitness and Weight Loss Centers will be collecting thousands of pounds of groceries to be donated to local food banks, as part of their annual Curves Food Drive, March 1-31. For the 7th year, Americas largest fitness franchise will be accepting grocery donations at over 100 Atlanta area Curves locations. As an added incentive for new and prospective members, anyone joining Curves the week of March 7 th-12th may bring a bag of non-perishable groceries and have the normal service fee waived. Each center literally fills up, with hundreds of bags of groceries, during the month, which is then weighed and delivered to local community food banks. Atlanta Area Curves franchisees and members will also be participating in the Atlanta Community Food Banks Annual Hunger Walk/Run March 13. Last year, the Curves Food Drive collected over 4,000 tons of food across the U.S. for local communities. With over 8,000 locations nationwide, Curves is the worlds largest fitness franchise and the fastest growing franchise in history. | |
