Nature's turns over a new leaf

Nature's Nursery has announced a change in its business that has been a fixture in the community for 28 years. Nature's is now a full-service, design/build landscape company offering landscape design, installation, hardscapes, irrigation and complete grounds maintenance.

Nature's is also announcing the opening in March of Rabbit's Secret Garden. Located at the same place the nursery has been for 28 years and the home of Nature's Landscape Service, Rabbit’s Secret Garden will offer seasonal flowers, perennials, unusual pottery, fountains, statuary, garden gates, arbors and many other items for the garden.

Phil Jackson, owner of Nature's Landscape Services, started Nature's Nursery with his partner, Steve Kenney, in 1977. After a long and successful partnership, they both decided it was time to follow their individual dreams. Phil loves landscape design and installation. "I love to see the transformation of property from undesirable to a beautiful landscape," he said.

To kick off this new way of doing business, Nature's is having a promotion for someone in Fayette County to win a $10,000 "Extreme Landscape Makeover." All you have to do is send a letter and photo to Nature's Landscape Services and tell why you or your organization deserves this makeover. Your property must be in Fayette County, and the request can be for an individual, family, school, or charitable organization. The key is to have a real heartfelt need.

Jackson explained that the extreme landscape makeover is a way for him to thank the community for the support over the last 28 years and give back something that will help the recipient.
