Bad Links? | Sandy Creek boys advance to Elite EightThe Sandy Creek Patriots created some distance against Bainbridge in the third quarter of their state playoff game last night. Thanks to double-digit performances from several players Sandy Creek pushed the lead to as many as 20 points at one point. The final score was 64-47 and the win puts them in the Elite Eight against Baldwin on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. A win in that game moves them to the final four on Wednesday against either Columbia or Tucker. Sandy Creek's girls take on Northside- Warner Robins this afternoon at 4 p.m. If they win, they will meet the winner of Jones County and Warner Robins tomorrow at 7 p.m. Sandy Creek's games this weekend are being held at the Columbus Civic Center. |
