Bad Links? | Family discovers burglar at homeBy LEE WILLIAMS A Peachtree City family made a hair-raising discovery when they returned home and allegedly found an armed burglar lurking in a bedroom closet. Peachtree City police responded to the home at 1622 Peachtree Stations Circle after receiving a call from the unidentified residents. The residents told police they heard a suspicious noise inside of their bedroom. Police entered the apartment and found a juvenile hiding inside of the closet of a locked bedroom. Police asked the Peachtree City teen to come out of the closet, but he refused. Police later apprehended the armed teen. The juvenile was found to be in the possession of a screwdriver, bandana and other miscellaneous items, Peachtree City Police Chief James Murray said in a prepared statement. The juvenile was taken into custody for burglary and released to a family member. |
