Activation was due to construction activity. Fire alarm: At 9:31 a.m. Feb. 14, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a fire alarm at 201 Walt Banks Road. The alarm was false. Activation was due to construction activity. Accident: At 5:38 p.m. Feb. 14, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to an accident at Hwys. 54 and 74. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Two patients were transported to the hospital via Peachtree City Fire/Rescue ambulances. Vehicle fire: At 9:23 p.m. Feb. 14, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a vehicle fire at 200 Stevens Entry. Personnel and equipment arrived to find a vehicle that had sustained fire damage, but the fire was out on arrival. Carbon dioxide alarm: At 2:18 a.m. Feb. 16, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported carbon dioxide alarm at 106 Bowfin Bay. Personnel and equipment arrived with facility being evacuated. The firefighters replaced the batteries in the carbon dioxide monitor. Accident: At 8:34 a.m. Feb. 17, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a vehicle accident at McIntosh Trail and Robinson Road. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Accident: At 12:53 p.m. Feb. 17, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported accident in the area of 101 Market Place Connector. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Accident: At 1:33 p.m. Feb. 17, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a vehicle accident at 629 Commerce Drive. Personnel and equipment arrived to find no fire, but a very smoky golf cart on the golf cart trail. Gas leak: At 8:08 a.m. Feb. 18, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a gas leak at 720 South Fairfield. A gas leak was found near dryer inside the structure. Residents were evacuated prior to fire units arrival. The gas was turned off, Atlanta Gas notified and the house was ventilated. Residents were advised to await arrival of gas company. Fire alarm: At 11:58 a.m. Feb. 18, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a fire alarm at 319 Dividend Drive. The alarm was false. Activation was due to malfunction. Accident: At 2:37 p.m. Feb. 18, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a vehicle accident at Peachtree Parkway and Crosstown Road. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. One patient was transported to the hospital via Peachtree City Fire/Rescue ambulances. Gas leak: At 6:39 p.m. Feb. 18, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported gas leak in the area of Crosstown Road and Peachtree Parkway. Nothing was found. Fire alarm: At 7:35 p.m. Feb. 19, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported structure fire at 102 Pacers Walk. The firefighters arrived to find the resident had started a fire in their fireplace and it appeared a neighbor thought there was a chimney fire. The chimney and attic area was checked with nothing found. From Feb. 14-20: Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 49 calls for help. |
