Peachtree City police responded to 512 North Fairfield Drive at 2:37 a.m. Feb. 3, after receiving a call from Mike Ramon, a neighbor who lived on North Fairfield Drive in Peachtree City. Upon arrival, police found Kevin Daniel Wingo, 25, of 115 Duchess Court, Fayetteville, nursing a bloody nose and a knot over his right eye. Wingo is the athletic director at the Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department. Police also found Wingos alleged sparring partner, William Craig Brown, 23, of 512 North Fairfield Drive, suffering from an injured lip and a bruised left eye. Brown is a plumber for Patroit Plumbing in Fayetteville. Wingo and Brown exchanged blows during a fight at Browns home, according to police. Three people witnessed the incident that apparently was alcohol-related, police said. The cause of the fight was unspecified. I made contact with the two subjects, the responding officer said. After talking with both parties it could not be determined who started the incident. Both parties were referred to the magistrates office. |
