FFUMC to offer Lenten lunches

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have Lenten lunches each Wednesday during Lent from noon until 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The event will include a light lunch and a brief message. For more information, call the church office, 770-461-4313.

Bethany ladies to tour Fife House

FFUMC preschool opens registration

The child Development Center (preschool) at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is now accepting applications for the 2005-2006 school year. Classes are held for 3-year-olds (must be 3 by Sept. 1) and 4-year-olds (must be 4 by Sept. 1). A one-time nonrefundable registration fee is required at the time of registration. To register, call Jean Jones at the preschool office, 770-719-9421, any weekday from 9 a.m. until noon, or stop by the church office at 175 East Lanier Avenue (Ga. Hwy. 54 West).

Book of Acts studied at CTK

The Book of Acts was the subject of a recent midweek Bible study at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. The study was led by Ed Behlke of Fayetteville and John Thompson of Peachtree City. For more information about Christ the King, call 770-252-2428.

Bethany UMW will meet Feb. 19

Brushfire to perform at 1st Presbyterian

PTC UMC youth to offer home repair help

From Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13, youth from Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer their services to local residents in need of housekeeping, yard work and minor home repairs. The event is geared toward those who are unable to hire such help from commercial companies. Residents must be home that weekend to qualify. Application deadline is Feb. 28.
