Bingham rejoins former manager at Fayette Rivoli Mortgage office

Darrell Bingham, who began his mortgage career with Frank Bennett as his mentor back in early 1988 at Griffin Financial Services, has reunited with his former manager at the newly-opened office of Rivoli Mortgage in Fayetteville.

Bingham entered mortgage banking in January of 1998 at Griffin Financial Services’ Fayetteville office, and he earned the office’s Fast Track Employee of the Year Award for his outstanding production during his first year in the mortgage industry.

Supervising the Griffin Financial Services office then was Bennett, who has been involved in the mortgage business in the Fayette County area since 1987 and who currently oversees the Fayetteville operation for Rivoli Mortgage, a division of Macon-headquartered Rivoli Bank.

As co-managers, we have put together a staff of the highest quality,” said Bingham. “We also have the best investors in the marketplace, and this allows us to give our clients the best rates with a multitude of products to choose from. Bingham has lived in Fayette County since the mid 1980s and attended Clayton College and State University. In March of 2003, he retired as a lieutenant from the Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services after 18 years of service.

Prior to entered mortgage banking, Bingham had been in real estate for 15 years. Working with Griffin Financial for a couple of years, he then moved to another local mortgage banking company, remaining there for more than four years and earning the company’s Loan Officer of the Year Award four times.

Bingham and his wife Judith live in Brooks and have two sons, Andrew, 6, and William, 2.

The Fayettevillel office of Rivoli Mortgage is located at 160 Bastille Way, Suite D, and offers traditional fixed and adjustable rate mortgage loans, individual and builder construction loans, lot loans, VA and FHA loans and home equity lines of credit.

Rivoli Bank was established in 1997 and has banking offices on Zebulon Road in Macon and Mulberry Street in downtown Macon and a Rivoli Loan Center in Griffin. It also has Rivoli Mortgage offices in Warner Robins, Butler and on Bass Rd. in Macon.
