After the award presentations, Tom Rolka of the Peachtree City Rotary Club presented a $2,400 check to Robin Lasky, president of the PCVFA. The Rotary Club this year recognized Gary Half for all his outstanding work over the past year, both as a volunteer firefighter and treasurer of the PCVFA, Eiswerth said. His perspective on the war, whats really happening in Iraq today, and leadership qualities needed by the young men and women officers during combat operations was very informative and interesting, Eiswerth said. He provided an interesting perspective on what is required to motivate and lead todays youth. |
