Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Gilbert of Jamestown, N.C. announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine McBeath Gilbert, to Jonathan David Niebes, son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Niebes of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Gilbert of Clayton, Mo., granddaughter of Richard Gilbert and the late Mrs. Priscilla Gilbert of Kirkwood, Mo., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kelley of Clayton, Mo. She is a 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2003 graduate of Southern Methodist University with a bachelors degree in corporate communications and public affairs. She is employed as a service specialist for Cardinal Health in Dallas, Texas.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Niebes of Dayton, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sheperd of Peachtree City. He is a 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2003 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a bachelors in management. He is currently a 2nd lieutenant in the Air Force and will serve as a C-21 pilot at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
Following a March wedding in Peachtree City, the couple will reside in Germany.

Mr. and Mrs. James Kerwin of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Rose, to Daniel Taylor Nirenberg of Atlanta, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ted Nirenberg of Barrington, R.I.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of McIntosh High School and the University of Georgia. She holds a masters in international affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is employed by the Department of Defense in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds a masters degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is an associate brand manager for Georgia Pacific.
