Hispanic congregation forms at FCC

A new Hispanic congregation has formed at Fayetteville Christian Church and meets Sunday evenings, downstairs in the educational building, at 5:30 p.m. For information, call the church office, 770-461-8763. The church is at New Hope and Hickory roads, Fayetteville.

Open Word to host blood, safety drive

Open Word Ministries and the Xcelling Youth Zone will host a Give Life Blood Drive and Health and Safety Drive Friday, Feb. 4, from 2-7 p.m. Local health and fitness representatives will be available to help children learn to stay fit and safe. The Red Cross will be on site to assist with blood donations. Open Word is at 6230 Ga. Hwy. 92 (out of Fairburn/Union City toward Douglasville) on the corner of Highway. 92 and Dodson Road. Killmeier, Van Wert concert is this Saturday

The First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will present an evening of love songs and duets featuring Bill Killmeier and Cynthia Van Wert Saturday, Feb. 5, at 8 p.m. Accompanist will be pianist Bill Callaway.
