Babysitter training course at hospitalEver want to be in the Babysitters Club? Piedmont Fayette Hospital is offering a fun, interactive American Red Cross Babysitters Training Course Saturday, Jan. 29, for teens 11 to 15 years old. The program will teach sitters-to-be the responsibilities and qualities of being a good babysitter and what to expect from parents. The course will focus on safety and safe play, basic care, first aid, leadership and professionalism. Included in the $30 fee is an illustrated Babysitters Handbook that is useful for preparing for and using on the job. The course will be held at 1279 Highway 54 West (next to Piedmont Fayette Hospital) on the 3rd floor in Conference Room A from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information or to register, call Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary office at 770-719-7178. |
