Panthers head to state dualsStarrs Mill went 5-1 at last weekends area duals and will wrestle today and tomorrow at the state duals at the Macon Centreplex. The Panthers only defeat came to Union Grove, the champions of the area duals, 40-33. Their five wins came against Lovejoy, Mundys Mill, Fayette County, Newnan and East Coweta. The overall records for the Starrs Mill wrestlers are: Kevin OBrien (103) 36-12; Joey Hoyt (112) 22-18; Keagon Overton (119) 24-16; Kevin Thurber (119) 13-13; Stephen Savage (125) 44-5; Chris Green (125) 12-5; Cory Radcliffe (130) 30-7; Ryan Jones (135) 21-18; Brandon Witta (140) 44-8; John Donaldson (145) 14-17; Patrick Kellerman (160) 41-7; Jeff Partlow (189) 45-6; Bradley Connor (215) 49-5 and Ben Griffin (275) 29-10. McIntosh placed fourth in the 4-AAAA area duals on Saturday, beating Douglas County 54-27 and Sandy Creek 41-35 and losing to Woodward Academy 64-10 and Northgate 52-24. Wrestlers who came up big for the Chiefs on Saturday were Richard Hughes (103), Doug Taylor (125), Davarion Smith (140) and Scott Ritter (171). On Wednesday, th Chiefs handed Douglas County another loss, 54-30. Hughes and Ritter came up big once again, as did Matt Penn (135) and Ben Trahan (130).
