Grace Church plans womens studiesGrace Church in Fayetteville will offer a choice of two daytime studies for women beginning Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 9:30 a.m. Childcare is provided. A Woman After Gods Own Heart, by well known author Elizabeth George, is a 10-week video/small group study with workbook, which provides 20-30 minutes of daily personal study preparing participants for the next group session. It offers practical, scriptural insights on how one can pursue Gods priorities concerning husband, children, home, walk with the Lord, and ministry. Teach Your Children Gods Word by Stacey Smith is a seven-week small group study intended to help parents teach Gods Word to their children. The author is the instructor for this study. The curriculum is practical and has a strong Scriptural base. Women also are invited to attend Heart To Heart, held on Tuesday evenings beginning Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. The weekly get-together will provide women with the opportunity to cultivate intimate relationships with each other and with God. Encouragement, support, accountability, and prayer are just a few of the purposes of this ministry, a spokesperson said. This will be an in-depth book study on Waking the Dead: The Glory of a Heart Fully Alive by John Eldredge. In his new book, Eldredge shows readers why real Christianity is a process of restoration, where the broken parts of our hearts are mended and the captive parts are set free. Books will be available for purchase. Childcare will not be provided for this session. For directions to the location of this group, or for information on any of the studies, call the church office, 770-487-9360. Grace Church is at 164 Flat Creek Trail, between Peachtree City and Fayetteville.
