Brayson Homes opens pre-sales in The Gables at Heron BayBrayson Homes has announced the opening of pre-sales in The Gables, the companys second neighborhood in Minerva Properties resort-styled master planned community which spans the Henry and Spalding County line. The Gables is in the Spalding County portion of the Heron Bay development, and this marks Brayson Homes first move into the Spalding County residential home market. With four pre-sales already recorded, The Gables will ultimately have a total of 92 ranch homes with prices from the $160,000s to the $180,000s. Construction has already begun on the model homes and the pre-sales. Brayson Homes is offering five different award-winning floor plans in the neighborhood. Available options include such items as stone or brick accents on the exteriors, bonus rooms, crown molding, ceramic tile, and solid surface countertops. More information about the homes in The Gables can be obtained by calling or visiting the sales center in Pinehurst, Braysons initial neighborhood in Heron Bay, which is in the Henry County portion of the development. Diane Ashcraft, who is the on-site agent for both neighborhoods, can be reached by calling 678-610-5500. The Gables is also the site of a Transplant House, and the builder has already started this project. The purpose of the Transplant House is twofold: to help fund important GTF programs and to encourage organ donation. The Transplant House project is carried out each year by Brayson homes with the understanding that when a home is sold, 100 percent of the profits support the Georgia Transplant Foundation. The profits from Transplant House sales are much larger than profits received from the normal sale of a home, since many of Brayson Homes contractors, suppliers and vendors donate labor and materials for the project. The contribution from the Transplant House in The Gables will bring the nine-year total donated to over $1 million. With their home purchases, residents of The Gables neighborhood in Heron Bay live in a country club community at an affordable price and can now begin enjoying those amenities, including the lake with opportunities for fishing, boating and other outdoor activities, as they are completed. Community life centers around a 5,000-square-foot lodge which is also serving as the developments information center. A verandah and arbor with an outdoor fireplace overlook the communitys aquatic center plus there is an 18-hole championship golf course, which was designed, developed and managed by Canongate Golf Clubs. Gwinnett-based Brayson Homes, which was founded in 1977, has sold over 7,500 new homes during its 27-year history. The company is active in Gwinnett, DeKalb, South Fulton, Clayton, Coweta, Newton, Paulding, Henry and Spalding County markets and has plans to enter the Douglas County market in the future. The Brayson Homes group of builders is one of only a few of the 13,000 builders in the more than 20-year history of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program to receive the prestigious Diamond Builder award for quality construction and customer service. The company has earned awards in the prestigious Professionalism Competition sponsored by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the Sales & Marketing Council.
