Miller earns CFS designationKent R. Miller of Re/Max Advantage has been recognized by the Residential Financing Council as a Certified Finance Specialist, a designation that requires an intensive course of study and evidence of experience in the area of home finance counseling. Less than one percent of all real estate licensees have earned this prestigious recognition. While assistance with financing is important to home buyers, explained Miller, sellers can also benefit when their listing agents understand how to utilize financial expertise to expand the number of potential buyers who can qualify for the purchase. Far too many buyers get focused solely on the purchase price. In a highly competitive marketplace, sellers often feel that lowering the price may be the best way to attract the buyer. Instead of price reductions, creative financing options such as seller buy-downs can often create a win-win scenario for both buyers and sellers. As CFS designees, we are trained to look beyond the obvious and help the buyers and sellers explore a wide variety of financing options. Kent R. Miller is an owner and associate broker of Re/Max Advantage and has been working in the real estate industry for 24 years. Re/Max Advantage has been serving the real estate needs of South Metro Atlanta for over 13 years. Prior to merging with three other Re/Max franchises to form Re/Max Advantage, Miller was the owner and broker or Re/Max Associates, also serving the Southside. Miller also holds the Certified Residential Specialist designation. |
