Blood drive planned at North Fayette UMC

Eleventh Hour church to offer women’s Bible study

Pam Glanton will lead a three-week women’s Bible study with prophetic ministry at the Eleventh Hour Call Church in Fayetteville. Greek mission plans St. Basil’s celebration

The Greek Orthodox Mission of Peachtree City will hold its second annual St. Basil’s Celebration (Vasilopita) on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the Fayette Family YMCA on Huiet Road at Hwy 54. All parishioners and their friends are invited to the covered dish fund raiser, with proceeds benefiting St. Basil’s Academy. Food, music, Greek dancing and face-painting will be offered. Liberty Baptist to host Area Bible Conference

Chuck Lawless will lead a three-day Bible conference at Liberty Baptist Church, focusing on the Gospel of Mark. St. Andrew’s men plan retreat at monastery

The men’s prayer group at st. Andrew’s in-the-Pines Episcopal Church will host a March retreat at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers on March 4-6, Friday night though Sunday afternoon. The theme “Spiritual Implication of the Incarnation” with presentations by the Abbot and two priests will allow for conference time and discussion, and worship with the brothers. Marriage enrichment retreat planned

Fayetteville Christian Church will sponsor a marriage enrichment retreat scheduled for March 11-12 at the Simpsonwood Retreat Center in Norcross. Leading the retreat will be Dr. Danny and Angie Robertson. The cost is $175 per couple and deadline for registration is Jan. 15. Ladies plan ‘silent’ retreat

The First Baptist Church of Peachtree City’s second annual Ladies’ Silent Retreat will be from 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, until 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18.The retreat facility is on 20 acres adjacent to the Chattahoochee River.
