Courtney Lynn Ratto, daughter of David and Linda Ratto of Tyrone, and Michael David Wright, son of Dr. David and Mrs. Barbara Wright of Roswell, were married Oct. 23, 2004 at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta, with a wedding celebration at the Georgia Tech Hotel. Deacon Jim Weeks of St. Matthews Church in Tyrone officiated.
The bride wore a strapless ivory satin drape-bodice gown with full train, and a rhinestone tiara with crystals and embroidery-adorned fingertip veil. The bridesmaids wore black crepe, shawl-draped gowns.
Maid of honor was Sydney Oxford of Carroll County and best man was Jeff Wright of Cartersville, oldest brother of the groom. Others in the bridal party included: Ashlee Brown of Ft. Worth, Texas; Jessica Cox of Washington, D.C.; Hal Frediani and Mike Lewis of Atlanta; Jason Silverstein of Chicago; John Vesel of Hartford, Conn.; Kelley DeMuth of Marietta; Kiersten Fair of Washington, D.C.; Liz Thomas of New Jersey; and Jill Curtis of Atlanta. Ushers were Dan Wright of Roswell, brother of the groom, Eric Ratto of Chicago, brother of the bride, and Ryan Ratto, brother of the bride. Jake and Princess Macy Wright, nephew and niece of the groom, were ring bearer and flower girl.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple will reside in Richmond, Va., where the bride is a chemical process engineer for DuPont and the groom is a chemical engineer for Infineon Technologies.
