State House Republicans launch new Web site

Speaker-elect Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) announced this week that House Republicans have launched a new Web site featuring valuable information for legislative members, the media and the public.

“More and more people are turning to the Internet as their primary source for information,” said Richardson. “We felt it was important for the ruling party of the Georgia House of Representatives to also make this transition with Georgians. It is my hope that all Georgians will find the site useful, and that it will help our citizenry become more aware of and involved in the political process.”

Actmajority.com will feature information including biographical data on House leadership, the newly adopted rules of the House, legislative action during the current and past sessions of the House of Representatives, news releases and audio clips, events and the legislative calendar, career opportunities, and current news.
