Vendor cost lowered for PTC fireworks celebration

The cost of a booth for vendors wanting to sell food and related July 4th items at Peachtree City’s July 4th fireworks display has been reduced to $200.

The vendor sites were originally priced at $400.

Only four of the available spots will have electricity and generators will not be allowed for noise concerns. Vendors will also not be allowed to walk around and sell their items.

Because July 4 falls on a Sunday this year, the event will be held Saturday, July 3. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to July 4, organizers said.

Prospective vendors must apply in person for one of the 12 foot square vendor sites at the Peachtree City Recreation Department at 191 McIntosh Trail; a $50 refundable deposit is required but the fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
