Hopewell Village sales up and runningThere have already been seven sales in Hopewell Village, an upscale community in the Covington area of Newton County. Located at the intersection of Highway 81 and Lumas Road, Hopewell Village is a 25-home community with prices ranging from the $290,000s to the $380,000s. There are currently three homes in standing inventory and available for purchase, and work is beginning on seven more spec homes. Hopewell Village is located only 15 minutes from Jackson Lake and the Atlanta International Horse Park, 30 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and about 10 minutes from Covington, Conyers and McDonough. The homes located on large two to five-acre homesites and have four-sides brick with stucco accents and full daylight basements. Home designs include ranch and two-story plans with masters-on-the-main. Interior features include hardwood and tile floors, corian countertops, and master suites with a sitting room and a fireplace. Aubrey Harvey is the developer and is also a builder in Hopewell Village. Other builders include Frank Miller, Wes Bonner and Tim Reynolds.
