Air Force Airman Matthew G. Digiusto, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.

In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Digiusto is the son of Daniel and Joanne Digiusto of Tyrone, Ga. He is a 2001 graduate of Fayette County High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Tyler S. Ford has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Ford is the son of Norma Ford of Tyrone, Ga. In 1998, the airman graduated from Woodward Academy.

He is the son of Pam Knowles, and the grandson of Gene Lewis, both of Fayetteville, Ga. Knowles is a 1999 graduate of Fayette County High School.
