Art that transforms

Local consultant helps find what makes a room shine

The right piece of art can transform a room, and no one knows this better than Deidre Milliron of Accent Art, an art consulting and design service.

“Art is eternal,” Milliron said. “It exceeds time and has no geographical or cultural boundaries.”

As an art consultant, she helps clients choose the best paintings and art pieces for their homes and offices, offering the artwork at 20 to 30 percent below the retail cost.

Milliron says she got started in direct art sales after a friend asked her to give advice on her new home. “I come from a family of artists and grew up attending numerous art shows and exhibitions,” she said. “I’ve inherited an eye for art, color and design, and I am passionate about it.”

The fine art she chooses for her clients includes originals, limited and rare editions, sculpture and bronze statues, to name a few, from both classic and contemporary artists. Just one call to Accent Art will bring Milliron to your home or business for a full service art and design consultation.

“I enjoy seeing a client’s happy face when their art is delivered and hung,” she said. “I enjoy providing first class professional service and et most of my business from referrals of satisfied clients.”

One client who hired Milliron to consult on new art for their office was so pleased with the results that they invited her to work on their home as well.

“Art brings life to an environment. It adds new dimensions to a room and transforms a setting from ordinary to extraordinary,” Milliron said.

This consultant travels extensively throughout Europe and Australia to view pieces of art for her clients.

Accent Art is not only helping people to transform their homes, it is also helping others in need. Ten percent of all proceeds go to children’s charities.

“I believe in loving what you do and doing what you love,” Milliron said, and it is easy to see that she is.

Milliron will be hosting an annual charity event in mid-July featuring an array of fine artists with the theme of Mediterranean land and seascapes. The public is welcome and should phone to reserve entry.
