Johnny Robert Elliott

Johnny Robert Elliott, 74, Douglasville, died May 11, 2004. He was born July 6, 1929 in Decatur, Ga., son of the late John Randolph and Bessie Mae Elliott. He was an upholsterer and owner of Elliott’s Upholstery for many years. Services were at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, Douglasville, with the Rev. Raymond Popham officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include his wife, Essie M. Elliott, Douglasville; a son, Robert M. and Beverly Elliott, Marietta; a brother, Otis Elliott, Savannah; a sister, Betty Avery, Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Angela D. and David Colucci, Fayetteville, N.C., and Robert A. Elliott, Marietta. Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, Douglasville, was in charge.

Clyde Elrod

Staff Sergeant Clyde Elrod, United States Army retired, 82, Fayetteville, died May 13, 2004. He was born March 8, 1922 in Fulton County. Graveside services with full military honors were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include sons, Michael Elrod, Senoia, and Jim Elrod, College Park; and a granddaughter, Angela Leigh Elrod. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Elbert Marion Conville

Elbert Marion “Eb” Conville, 81, Fayetteville, formerly of Orlando, Fla., died May 13, 2004. He was born April 18, 1923 in Sylacauga, Ala. He served in the United States Navy in World War II and was retired after 39 years with BellSouth. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating. Survivors include his wife, Estelle Conville, Fayetteville; daughters, Rose and George Rollins, Fayetteville, and Sonia Conville-Moore and husband, Michael Moore, Williamson; and a grandson, Creighton Rollins and fiancé, Jennifer Eaton, Gay. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Linda Yvonne Draper

Linda Yvonne “Vonnie’ Draper, 54, Fayetteville, died May 14, 2004. She was born March 13, 1950 in Fulton County. Her death was due to an accident on her tractor. Services were at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Ellis and the Rev. Dennis Watson officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include her husband, Michael O. Draper, Fayetteville; daughters, Michelle and Donnie Patton, Fayetteville, Tina and Kyle Boatwright, Temple, Texas, and Kim and Jeff Pouliot, McDonough; her mother, Willie Mae “Bill” Jolley, Locust Grove; 14 grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon and Roy Wofford, Locust Grove. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center, 116 Bethea Rod, Fayetteville, GA 30214. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Joe Evans Roghelia

Joe Evans Roghelia, 54, Peachtree City, died May 15, 2004. He was born July 17, 1949 in Cumberland County, Maine. Survivors include his wife, Ann Roghelia, Peachtree City; a daughter, Erin M. Roghelia; brothers, Carl Roghelia, Ronnie Roghelia, and David M. Roghelia sisters, Phyllis Griffin, Cartersville, and Linda Yatts; and father, David L. Roghelia. Carl J. James Lawrence Kolman

James Lawrence Kolman, 4, Fayetteville, died May 16, 2004. He was born Aug. 7, 1999 in Clayton County. Services were at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Jimmy Adams officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include parents, Dan and Robin Kolman, Fayetteville; a brother, Jonathan Kolman, Fayetteville; sisters, Jessica Kolman, Sara Kolman, and Amy Kolman, all of Fayetteville; grandfather, Joseph Kolman, Fayetteville; and grandmother, Elizabeth Bearden, Fayetteville. Linda Ann Rizzotto

Linda Ann Rizzotto, 63, Fayetteville, died May 20, 2004. She was born March 16, 1941 in Miami, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Steven Rizzotto. Services were at First Baptist Church, Peachtree City, with interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include daughters, Robyn and Andy Martinez, and Crissy and Steven Hartsock; parents, Arthur and Mary Irvine; brothers, Arthur and Judy Irvine Jr., and Bill and Judy Irvine; sisters, Mary Lynn and John Nyman, and Becky and Rodger Shields; and grandsons, Austin Martinez, and Noah Martinez. Sandra M. Carlisle

Sandra M. “Sandy” Carlisle, 40, Moreland, died May 21, 2004. She was born June 15, 1963 in Fulton County. She was a member of Fayetteville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Services were at Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Scott Begley officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Carlisle, Moreland; step-daughters, Heather Carlisle, and Carlie Carlisle, both of Stockbridge; mother, Betty Jo Morris, Fayetteville; and brothers, Glenn and Cheryl Morris, Fayetteville, and Scott and Maria Eugenia Morris, Pembroke Pines, Fla. Mary Hand Huddleston

Mary Hand Huddleston, 91, Fayetteville, died May 21, 2004. She was born Nov. 12, 1912 in Henry County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Huddleston. Graveside services were at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Survivors include a brother, Ben F. and Shirley Hand Jr., Tampa, Fla.; and sisters, Ilean Roberts Senoia, and Loretta Roberts, Fayetteville. Carl J.
