Wedding and Engagement Announcements

Tucker-Myers

Ms. Cissie Baker-Tucker of Moultrie announces the engagement of her daughter, Stormy September Tucker, to Matthew Wayne Myers, son of Wayne and Carol Myers of Fayetteville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Henry F. and Ida M. Baker of Moultrie. A 1999 honor graduate of Colquitt County High School, she attended Berry College in Rome and was graduated summa cum laude in May, 2004, from Georgia State University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She was a member of Phi Mu Sorority and Golden Key International while at Georgia State. She is employed by the Fayette County Board of Education and will teach third grade at Peachtree City Elementary School this fall.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Francis M. Myers and the late Harry L. Myers of Atlanta and the late Herman E. and Christine Scovel of Colorado Springs, Colo. A 1998 graduate of Fayette County High School, he was graduated in 2003 from Clayton Regional Law Enforcement Academy and in May, 2004, from Georgia State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in psychology and criminal justice. He is employed as a police officer for the Peachtree City Police Department.

The wedding will be Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 2 p.m., at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Tyrone.nd Mrs. Fred Belter, all of Port Charlotte, Fla. He was graduated from Port Charlotte High School and is enrolled at Georgia Perimeter College pursuing a degree in business. He is employed by Chick-fil-A.

The wedding will be June 12, 2004, at East Point Christian Church, with a reception following at the College Park Women’s Club.
