Open Word Christian Ministries seeks furniture, clothing donations Open Word Christian Ministries in Fairburn and Union City is asking for donations of “gently used” clothing, furniture and household items for the Twice As Nice Resale Boutique near Shannon Mall. Proceeds from the store benefit “at risk” youth in South Fulton County. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information or to schedule a pick up, call 770-964-5744. The store, a nonprofit organization, is at 6810 Shannon Walk Plaza, next to IHOP in Shannon Mall.
