BOE workshops set, open to public The Fulton County Board of Education will hold workshops May 18 and June 3 with Dr. John Carver, a renowned governance model expert. The May 18 workshop is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school system’s North Transportation Center, 410 South Main Street in Alpharetta. The June 3 workshop will be held 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Administrative Center, 786 Cleveland Avenue SW, Atlanta. The Carver Policy Governance Model aims to increase the productivity of all Board nonprofit, governmental, and business by examining practices, attitudes and beliefs, and organizational structure.
