Rose show is this weekend

The South Metro Rose Society will present its 19th annual Rose Show on May 15 and 16, at the Hood Avenue Elementary School in Fayetteville. from 1 - 4 p.m. The Rose Show is in conjunction with the Fayetteville Old Courthouse Art Show. The show is free and open to the public each day.

The Rose Show will have exhibits of several varieties of roses for the public to view. Members of various area rose societies will enter the competition. There is also a section for arrangements.

South Metro Rose Society is an affiliate of the American Rose Society located in Shreveport, LA where the national gardens are located. The South Metro Rose Society meets at the Heritage Bank in Fayetteville. For further information call 770-632-0997.
